3\"><div><div><div><p><strong>Motiva\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong><\/p><p>O projeto EOLOS.MAR \u00e9 uma atividade do <em>Plano de Recupera\u00e7\u00e3o e Resili\u00eancia (PRR): Recuperar Portugal (RP) &#8211; C21-I07.02: Estudos T\u00e9cnicos para o Potencial Energ\u00e9tico Offshore<\/em> &#8211; do qual o LNEG \u00e9 benefici\u00e1rio e coordenador. Esta a\u00e7\u00e3o\u00a0tem como objetivo a realiza\u00e7\u00e3o de estudos t\u00e9cnicos de caracteriza\u00e7\u00e3o do potencial renov\u00e1vel <em>offshore, <\/em>com especial enf\u00e2se na tecnologia e\u00f3lica. Os estudos incidem sobre as regi\u00f5es inclu\u00eddas no Plano de Afeta\u00e7\u00e3o para o Desenvolvimento de Energias Renov\u00e1veis Offshore (PAER, vers\u00e3o provis\u00f3ria 2023), abrangendo uma \u00e1rea m\u00ednima de 2.000 km\u00b2 no oceano Atl\u00e2ntico.<\/p><p>Os resultados deste projeto constituir\u00e3o informa\u00e7\u00e3o relevante para a valoriza\u00e7\u00e3o da energia no decurso dos processos concorrenciais de atribui\u00e7\u00e3o de capacidade para explora\u00e7\u00e3o comercial de energias renov\u00e1veis ao largo da costa portuguesa.<\/p><p>Este investimento visa criar as condi\u00e7\u00f5es necess\u00e1rias para que o Estado Portugu\u00eas possa promover concursos p\u00fablicos competitivos, transparentes e alinhados com as melhores pr\u00e1ticas internacionais, assegurando o desenvolvimento sustent\u00e1vel do setor e\u00f3lico offshore, na defesa do interesse p\u00fablico.<\/p><p><strong><br \/>Objetivos e Desenvolvimento do Projeto<\/strong><\/p><p>O objetivo principal deste projeto consiste na realiza\u00e7\u00e3o de estudos t\u00e9cnico-cient\u00edficos com base em campanhas experimentais para caracterizar o potencial energ\u00e9tico dos os recursos marinhos mais relevantes, i.e. do vento, das ondas e das correntes, bem como outras propriedades relevantes nas \u00e1reas <em>offshore <\/em>em estudo. Al\u00e9m de contribuir para um conhecimento aprofundado do Mar, ao largo da costa continental portuguesa, esta informa\u00e7\u00e3o ser\u00e1 fundamental para apoiar futuros investidores no desenvolvimento de projetos de centrais de energias renov\u00e1veis nas regi\u00f5es do PAER\u00a0 &#8211; aprovado em Fevereiro de 2025 \u2013 e que, atualmente, fazem parte do PSOEM.<\/p><p>A conce\u00e7\u00e3o das campanhas experimentais previstas neste projeto e os requisitos m\u00ednimos que devem ser cumpridos, baseiam-se nas normas e recomenda\u00e7\u00f5es internacionais atualmente adotadas no setor da energia e\u00f3lica <em>offshore<\/em> (nomeadamente, IEA-International Energy Agency) e IEC &#8211; Comiss\u00e3o Eletrot\u00e9cnica Internacional. As campanhas t\u00eam como principal base a utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o de sistemas <em>Light Detection and Ranging <\/em>(LiDAR) flutuantes, complementados, numa fase posterior, por esta\u00e7\u00f5es meteorol\u00f3gicas com anemometria convencional e sistemas LiDAR fixos instalados em terra, junto \u00e0 costa (ver 2.
